Committee Mandate
The ASH Research Collaborative® Data Hub encompasses research-driven, data-focused efforts for the purpose of answering critical research questions and supporting clinical care.
The Data Hub Oversight Group, which reports to the ASH Research Collaborative Executive Committee, oversees the Data Hub and is charged with developing:
- Criteria and processes for evaluating opportunities for collaboration and
- Standardized processes and procedures for evaluating and prioritizing incoming research requests.
These efforts require specialized skills and subject matter expertise across varied disciplines, including research, health informatics, data science, clinical expertise, health systems administration. Members of the Data Hub Oversight Group are regarded as holding specialized expertise within their respective fields to inform and benefit the Data Hub efforts. When necessary, non-ASH are consulted for specific discussions involving their area(s) of subject-matter expertise.
The Data Hub Oversight Group convenes as necessary via conference call and up to two in-person meetings per year.
