The Data Hub
A Source for Real-World Hematology Data
Ensuring high-quality data is crucial for making the Data Hub a reliable resource for patients, clinicians, researchers, industry, and federal regulators.
The ASH Research Collaborative® (ASH RC) is dedicated to maintaining accurate, complete, and consistent data by working closely with sites who contribute real-world data. The Data Hub’s data quality framework follows the Food and Drug Administration’s guidance for using real-world data for research, ensuring that the data can also support regulatory decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
To help participating sites maintain the accuracy of their patient data, the ASH RC provides two confidential data quality reports:
ASH RC also conducts audits by comparing Data Hub data to manually curated data from electronic medical records. Audit results help to drive data quality improvements to ensure that the Data Hub is a trusted resource for improving care and advancing research for hematologic conditions.
