Committee Charge

The Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) National Community Advisory Board’s (NCAB) charge is to:

  • Represent the values, research priorities, training needs, and concerns of the local CAB;
  • Develop a training agenda for the CABs; and
  • Provide local training required by the ASH Research Collaborative.

The National Community Advisory Board is made up of representatives elected at local SCD Research Network Council sites including those living with SCD, their caretakers, and advocates.
