(WASHINGTON, November 26, 2024) – The ASH Research Collaborative® (ASH RC) invites prospective research sites to submit applications to join the ASH RC Sickle Cell Disease Research Network Council. The SCD Research Network is dedicated to advancing SCD therapeutics and accelerating the generation of high-quality evidence that improves our understanding of the disease and advances SCD care.

Every three years, the ASH RC SCD Research Network evaluates its mission, its progress, and the composition of sites and experts that form the SCD Research Network Council. This preannouncement provides potential applicants additional time to gather resources, which will support the development of high-quality, responsive proposals.

The full RFA will be released on February 10, 2025.
